13.11 - For him are successive (angels) before and behind him who protect him by the command of Allah. Indeed, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves; and when Allah wants evil to a people, there is no repelling to it. And there is not be for them other than Him any guardian. 13.12 - It is He Who shows you the lightning, (causing) fear and hope and generates the heavy cloud. 13.13 - And the thunder glorifies with His praise, and the angels from fear of Him. And He sends the thunderbolts and strikes with it whom He wills. And they dispute about Allah, and He is severe in assault. 13.14 - To Him belongs the supplication of truth. And those whom they call upon other than Him do not respond to them with anything, (they are) like one who stretches his two palms towards water to reach his mouth, but it will not reach it. And the supplication of the unbelievers is not except in error. 13.15 - And to Allah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly and unwillingly; and (so do) their shadows in the morning and the afternoons. 13.16 - Say: Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth? Say: Allah. Say: Have you then taken other than Him guardians who do not possess for themselves benefit or harm? Say: Is the blind equal to the seeing? Or is darkness equal to light? Or have they made to Allah partners who created like His creation so that the creation seemed similar to them? Say: Allah is the Creator of everything, and He is the One, the Prevailing. 13.17 - He sends down from the sky water, and valleys flow (with water) according to their measure, and the torrent carries a rising foam, and from that which they heat in the fire, desiring ornaments or utensils of foam like it; thus does Allah strike (the example of) truth and falsehood. As for the foam, it vanishes; and as for that which benefits the people, it remains in the land; thus does Allah strike parables. 13.18 - For those who have responded to their Lord is the best; and those who have not responded to Him, if they had that is in the earth all together and the like of it with it, they would ransom themselves thereby. It is them who will have a worst reckoning, and theirs refuge will be hell, and miserable is the resting place. 13.19 - So is one who knows that what has been sent down to you from your Lord is the truth like one who is blind? They will only be reminded those who possess minds. 13.20 - Those who fulfil the covenant of Allah and do not break the trust.
