34.31 - And those who have disbelieved say: We will never believe in this Quran, nor in that which was before it. And if you could see when the unjust will be made to stand before their Lord, (while) some of them returning the saying to others. Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant: Had it not been for you, we would have been believers. 34.32 - Those who were arrogant will say to those who were oppressed: Did we hinder you from the guidance after it had come to you? Rather, you were criminals. 34.33 - And those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant: Rather, (it was your) planning by night and day when you commanded us to disbelieve in Allah and make for Him opponents. And they will conceal regret when they will see the torture; and We will make the shackles over the necks of those who have disbelieved. Will they be rewarded except for what they used to do? 34.34 - And We did not send in a village any warner except that its rich people said: Indeed, we are, in that with which you have been sent, unbelievers. 34.35 - And they said: We have more wealth and children, and we will not be tortured. 34.36 - Say: Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills and restricts (it), but most of the people do not know. 34.37 - And it is not your wealth nor your children that bring you nearer to Us in position, except one who has believed and done good deed. And it is them for whom there will be double the reward for what they did, and they will be in the (highest) chambers (in paradise), safe. 34.38 - And those who strive in Our signs, opposing (them), it is them who will be in the torture, made present. 34.39 - Say: Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts (it) for him. And whatever thing you spend, He will compensate it, and He is the best of the providers. 34.40 - And the day He will gather them all together then say to the angels: Were these (people) worshipping you?
